Producers are members of a series crew involved in overseeing the making of the show. Producer positions in order of seniority are:

The series was created by David Milch. Milch is an executive producer and the series head writer. He was previously a writer and executive producer on Deadwood and has won multiple awards for his work on that series. In developing the series Milch worked closely with fellow executive producer and pilot director Michael Mann. Mann is the series show runner. Milch and Mann are joined as executive producers by Carolyn Strauss. Henry Bronchtein and Eric Roth are co-executive producers for the series. Star Dustin Hoffman is a producer for the show. Todd London and Juanita Diana Feeney are co-producers. Kathlenn M. Shea is an associate producer.
